All About The Condom Fairy
Our Mission
The Condom Fairy’s mission is to provide people with the information and material resources they need to make fully autonomous decisions about their sexual and reproductive healthcare, while reducing as many barriers to access as possible.
Our Story
The Condom Fairy is a nurse-led nonprofit based in Seattle, Washington; founded in 2024, The Condom Fairy is a registered 501(c)(3). Sofia, the Founder and Director of the organization, attended nursing school at Seattle University. She brings her public health education and understanding of social determinants of health to this community care program.
The Condom Fairy was originally born out of a research project through which Sofia identified a system-wide hole in reproductive access both on campus and in the wider community. Despite living in a “blue state,” many Washingtonians still face barriers to accessing essential healthcare and significant disparities in reproductive healthcare persist. This is particularly the case among Black, Indigenous, people of color, and immigrant communities. With her background in abortion care and women’s health, Sofia was able to draw upon her existing network to begin compiling resources and cultivating community partnerships.
What began as a research project has grown into a statewide network of resource stations that provide free products, educational materials, and referrals — all in discreet, safe spaces.

Our Impact
In our first year, we:
Established 25+ resource stations statewide
Distributed over 1,000 tablets of Plan B
Shared thousands of condoms and hundreds of pregnancy tests
Provided pro-abortion pins, stickers, zines, and educational materials
Reached thousands each month through social media
